Services Offered:

  1. Regional Economic Development District is responsible for completing and updating the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, and Trinity Counties. The CEDS is referenced in federal grant applications and acts as a funnel for federal dollars into the region.

  2. Assists jurisdictions in obtaining EDA grants for infrastructure projects benefiting businesses.

  3. Applies for EDA, USDA, and private grants for projects that support the CEDS goals.

  4. Regional economic development lender, providing gap financing solutions with banks and a sole funding source for projects that are too small for banks.

  5. Provides owner-occupied commercial real estate financing through the SBA 504 loan program throughout California.

Target Customers:

  1. Business owners who are looking to graduate from leasing to owning their business real estate.

  2. Infrastructure projects within the region that can be funded by EDA.

  3. Economic development projects that need funding.

  4. Operational support grants.

  5. Contributions for our Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) cash match.
