Local SCED representatives work with community action groups to plan and strategize for the future.  In working with the Community Economic Revitalization Team in the Option 9 counties, SCED assists in developing community action plans.  These plans often lead to specific projects which the SCED representatives assist in implementing.

Mill Site Reuse Project

The Mill Site Reuse Project, initiated in 1998, supports planning and redevelopment projects for selected closed and under-utilized mill sites in Northern California in partnership with local communities, the Economic Development Administration and other federal and state agencies.
