Ryan's Ramblings - July
It feels so great to be back! My son, Mason (age 12), and I drove around Utah for a week taking in Arches, Capitol Reef, Bryce and Zions. I really enjoyed the solitude of the area and spending time with Mason. He's at a special age and I enjoy being around him.
A week of work then we took a family vacation (Kara, my wife, Mason and Molly (age 9) over to the coast to escape the heat. We have a tradition of camping at Patrick's Point and this year we added a horseback excursion into the Redwoods with Redwood Creek Buckarettes (whom I highly recommend). I haven't been on a horse in 20 years since riding on my grandfather's ranch in Texas. All four of us had a great time and now Molly wants a horse.
Even with all the time away from the office, we set a record for a number of SBA 504 loans approved in June. July has been a good month too and I really appreciate our lending and referral partners for making this happen. For those of you interested in the 504 program check out www.scedd.org/504.
Have a great day!
